Welcome to part three of the series "Keep Your Relationship Going Strong". In part two we talked about how important trust is to a relationship. Without it a relationship is doomed to fail because trust is what keeps its foundation stable.
This tip might be hard for some of you girls out there...what is it you may ask? It's communication! You might be saying "I communicate with my man all the time, I always let him know how I am feeling; I don't need help with that." Mmhhmm sure you do, yelling at him is not a good form of communication.
In the beginning of my current relationship I was so hard to deal with, I'm so fortunate my boyfriend put up with my foolishness. The guy I was with before him made me so hostile because of his cheating and conniving ways. That all melted away once I realized my current boyfriend was nothing like him, but treated me like a princess. I used to be so hot headed and I would yell for the smallest things, it was kind of dumb now that I think back on it.
Communicating like that did not accomplish anything at all; it just made us both angry and frustrated. By the time the conversation (aka fight) was over we had no idea what started it in the first place, we veered off topic completely. Once I got over my anger from my previous relationship we were able to communicate without getting crazy or yelling at one another.
We talked one at a time, listened to one another, and respected each other’s opinion. Before we knew it fights were a thing of the past, and we were so happy. Fast forward to today, we still barely fight; actually I can't remember the last time we have. I hope you girls have learned from my experience, the best way to communicate with your man is to talk to him calmly, listen to him, and respect his opinion. If you do this I promise it will make a world of a difference in your relationship, now all you have to do is put it into practice!
