D.I.Y: Bow headband

You will need a scissor, a measuring tape, and the fabric of your choice.

You are going to cut out a rectangle that is 48 inches long and 6 inches wide.

It should look something like this...

This is optional…you can fold the fabric in half (the long way) and sew the sides together. This will make it much either to tie the bow when we are finished. 

I am not going to sew mine because I know not all girls own a sewing machine, so we are just going to fold our piece of fabric in half and tie it on our head. You can place the bow on the right, middle, or left side of your head, it’s up to you. With each hanging side of fabric you’re going to make a loop, cross them with one another, and one loop is going to go throw the hole that is formed. Tie it tight enough for it to stay, and pull each side till you reach your desired bow size.

There you have it! Your very own homemade bow headband...yay! Don't forget to cut off any hanging strings from the fabric, so you can have a more professional look.

You can make your homemade bow headband even better if you want by adding an accessory to the middle of the loop.  I added one of my large pearl earrings to show you an example of that…isn’t it cute!
