Keep Your Relationship Going Strong: Part 1

This is part one of my new series “Keep Your Relationship Going Strong". In each part I’ll give you girls tips on how you can keep your relationship with your man healthy and on the road to happiness and success.

What I have noticed throughout my life, from what I have experienced personally, from my friends experiences, and on T.V is that us girls are so clingy! We always feel the need to be by our man’s side ALL the time, and that causes us to forget about our friends and our social life. When my girlfriends used to disappear sometimes and barely text me, I knew they had met someone new...a love interest.

I mean seriously, what are you girls afraid of? Do you think that if you are not with him every waking moment he’s going to run away? Let us just take a deep breath together and say “He’s not going to run for the hills!” Ok…now that we have done that we are moving on to our first tip…that word that starts with a capital S…I think you know what word I’m talking about…SPACE! 

Yes girls I said it! He needs space to breathe, to have alone time, to hang out with the boys, to play video games, to watch sports on ESPN, and to actually miss you. That doesn’t mean since you’re not with him you’re going to blow up his phone with a million text messages…leave him alone! Trust me after a few hours of no contact he will start to wonder what you are up too, and send you a text or call to see “what’s up?"

That is the goal…we want him to miss us, if he doesn’t that means he is on the road   to being bored of us and that could be the beginning of the end of the relationship. So try it…go a few hours without texting or calling him and see what happens…you’ll probably be amazed!

O.M.G! I can’t believe I have 200 followers! I never thought this day would come so soon. I just want to thank everyone that has followed me and supported me by reading my blog; I really appreciate every single one of you!

I have so many things planned for the New Year so I hope you all stick around, and I welcome all of my future followers. I plan on doing a giveaway in a few days so look forward to that! Easy breakfast

I have been slacking when it comes to eating breakfast, I hardly do. I know that’s bad…I’m going to try to start making a quick breakfast in the morning. This is one way I can do that...by using my handy dandy waffle maker.

Make sure to add a little bit of butter or pam to the surface of the waffle maker so your waffle does not stick.

Pour baby pour....

Our not so perfect waffle! It’s alive…just kidding lol

Ready to eat! All we need is some butter and syrup…and we are done!

This O.P.I blue glitter nail polish reminds me of the snow in the winter time. Snow seems to sparkle like this color if you look closely at it when it’s falling.

The color is called “Last Friday Night”.

Maximum living mineral rich

I’m so excited about this liquid vitamin called Mineral Rich! I was on YouTube and I watched a video of this woman that claimed her hair grew very fast because she was taking this liquid vitamin (Her hair was growing a little more than an inch a month!) I researched more about it, and found that other women were having similar  results.

It supposedly makes your hair grow faster because of the vitamins and minerals it contains. It has B12, Biotin, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Manganese, Chromium, Potassium, Silica, and Aloe Vera (the picture above is the original formula without Aloe Vera, but the one I purchased contains Aloe Vera.)

I researched Silica and Selenium; both help to promote hair growth making your hair healthier and longer. I ordered the 32oz bottle from Amazon for $23, and I can’t wait to try it and see if it actually works for me. I’m going to take a before picture of my hair length and a picture after a month’s time, and see if it grew more than normal. I will update you guys in a month’s time!

Hello Kitty

I love my cheetah print Hello Kitty glasses, they are so cute! When I saw them on this girl on YouTube I had to get them! I didn’t get the same exact one she did, but a similar style.  I ordered this pair from Amazon, they were under $10. When I got them I was like… “Where are the lenses?”  They never came with lenses so I was going to return them, but my cousin told me that’s a style, no lenses just frames. I took her word for it, and now I rock the "no frames style".

Hide pimples

I bought the Abreva invisible cold sore patch so I could use it to cover pimples. The idea popped into my head when I saw the commercial for it. I thought "hey why can’t I use that to cover pimples too, cold sores and pimples almost look alike."

SMH! I can’t believe I really put this picture up! You guys should know I love you because I put this up close (maybe to close) and person picture of my HUGE pimple.

After! It’s covered, the box says you can put makeup over it and it won’t budge or get messed up. You can see that sunlight is hitting it and you can still barely see it, I only put a little bit of concealer on it, so imagine if I put more, no one will have ever know I even had a pimple there! I hope this helps you guys in the future when you have horrible pimples like mine.  The Abreva was $10 for 6 invisible cold sore patches, reasonable I would say.  Would you try this for your bad skin days?

Do you see that pink arrow pointing to the Marc by Marc Jacobs watch? I want that watch!! (I had to take a screen shot since it did not allow me to save the picture to my computer). I have always wanted one it’s so cute and it is 15% off at WatchWarehouse.com which is a UK based store.  Guess what though they ship internationally for $15 extra…YAY (fireworks shoot into the sky)! They have so many brands for both men and women. The prices are cheaper than if you were to buy the same exact watch in a traditional store like Macy’s or Lord & Taylor.  I’m so excited I found this website because I’m going to ask my boyfriend to buy it for me! Negril Village

I went out to Negril Village for dinner with friends tonight. It’s an awesome Jamaican restaurant located in the Village, and their food is amazing! If you go there at night be prepared to wait a while for a table, we waited an hour!   I ordered a mango margarita, the curried shrimp, and a side of fried plantains.  I recommend them to anyone who lives in New York City, or even if you are just visiting…happy Eating!
