Key chain

I love this blinged out "R" key chain that I got from Joyce Leslie.  I wanted to find something girly for my keys because they were a little bare.  Joyce Leslie is a clothing store and they have really cute stuff there.....I got this cropped jeans jacket that has flower print on it that is super cute (cant wait to wear it once it gets warmer).  Hopefully there is a Joyce Leslie near you!

The container store

I wanted to get more organized when it came to my shoes but I did not know how.  I went to my favorite organization store "The Container Store" because I know they have shoe cubbies and other products for organizing.  I wanted to get the white wood shoe cubbies but I noticed in the store they were starting to change color, the wood was chipping, and that was all just from sitting as a display for customers.  

I wanted something that would last longer and not start deteriorating so fast so I found these plastic shoe cubbies that you put together yourself, one holds about 6 shoes and cost only $15 (I keep my shoes at the bottom of my closet).

I bought 2 and put them together it was so easy, I should have bought more because I still have more shoes that you do not see in the picture that I need to organize.  I think I will be going back to The Container Store very soon.  If you were trying to figure out how to organize your shoes, hopefully I gave you a great idea.

31 days to build a better blog

I love Darren Rowse ....he is the owner and writer of problogger.net.  He has been blogging for so many years and he is so successful.  I want to be as great as him in a few years.   He has a e-book called "31 days to build a better blog" and I had to buy it because he always has great advice on his blog, I figured there would be great advice in his e-book .  It was the best $29.99 I have ever spent in my life!......not even kidding.  He gives such great advice that I have never read anywhere on the Internet before, and some of what I learned I implemented right away!  In the e-book he gives you a task to do every day for 31 days to make your blog better, increase your number of followers, increase traffic, and so much more!!  I am on day 7 and I am so excited for day 8 and so on, I am trying not to skip ahead to the other days.... (its really hard lol).  I really believe that all the new information that I am learning will help my blog become the best it can be, and beyond (excited face!!!).

Twitter

Never in a million years did I think I would have a twitter!  I always thought twitter was a waste of time....I mean really.....who cares if someone is using the bathroom (eww), driving their car (pay attention to the road crazy!), or anything else for that matter.  But I broke down and succumbed under the pressure and opened a twitter account.  At first I was so confused, like "what do I do!......"I don't know what to do on here".....but I quickly figured it out.  They made twitter sound like this magical place and It was just a normal site where you can read what celebrities and "us" normal people are doing every 5 minutes.  I found that twitter is actually therapeutic....I can get all the things I am feeling out in a split second just by tweeting it.  For example the wonderful MTA (train transportation) is always....always making me late no matter where I am going, and I just had a urge to tweet about it (but I couldn't because I was underground and had no service).  I look forward to being on twitter and tweeting more often!!!  Well I just had to put that out there :) ......Follow my blog to keep up to date with my future posts →

Cafepress

Have you ever heard of Cafepress?  Well if you want to design your own merchandise, sell them, and recieve a portion of those sales then you should visit Cafepress.com.  All you do is sign up, choose the products you want to sell (ex. T-shirts, hats, jewerly, pillows, and so on), upload or make your own design (you have to follow their terms of use.....make sure you read it.....don't want to see you get arrested lol JK), and then your ready to sell your merchandise.  You can also design your shop to your liking, they use html codes, so it is almost like having your own blog.  I am sure it will take a while for you to start making a good amount of money with your Cafepress shop so be patient, and update your shop often.

O.P.I nail polish

This O.P.I nail polish is called "over the taupe", I really like darker colors like this for some reason, I guess it is as close as I can get to wearing black (I cant wear black nail polish at work.....I think black is no longer for the "emo" person it has branched out.)  I also like the occasional bright colors like red when I am in a fun mood :).

Nail polish

I have never seen prices this low for O.P.I and Essie!  $6.99 and $5.99 that is a steal!!  I saw this at a beauty supply store on Fulton street in Manhattan it was called Beauty Source.  I am so going back there, I can not believe I did not buy anything when I went in (my boyfriends fault!!).

Adobe Photoshop

I did not realize how much Adobe photoshop cost!  Me being the smart person that I am, end up purchasing an upgrade version of the software I wanted.  I did not realize they meant an upgrade for a product you already have on your computer, I thought it meant a upgrade from the previous package they showed me on their website (I guess that is what happens when you purchase things at 12 am.....just wait till the morning when you are wide awake and can read.....they say the most returns come from people who purchase Items after 12 am).  I was really upset when I tried to download my product and it asked me for the previous product number that I was trying to upgrade.  I had to call Adobe in the morning and explain what foolishness I had done, and they said I should be refunded in the next 7 to 10 business days, which I am sure will feel like forever.  I purchased the upgrade for $360 (that's including tax) and I asked the customer representative how much the full version was.  He told a price over $1000!, I guess I wont be purchasing adobe photoshop any time soon.

Fiverr.com

Fiverr is a website where you can sell anything to people for $5.  For example I would get paid $5 if someone wanted me to talk about their prouduct, service, or wesbite for a minute.  Check out Fiverr.com, people do all sorts of crazy things for $5.....what are you willing to do?  (above is my Fiverr video.....they did not accept my video....I am assuming because I showed money....who knows....I have to make another one soon.)

Finishing touch pro

I love the finishing touch pro.  I would describe it as a small electrical shaver that can remove hair in just 5 minutes.  I use it all the time to get rid of hair in places that is too sensitive for me to use a razor like my arms and bikini line (I have two....I do not use the same one for my bikini line on my arms....that would be gross! lol)  It uses a AAA battery and it takes a really long time before you have to replace it.  I purchased it for under $10 ($10 well spent!).

The hairy beast!! LOL my arm.....hairy I know.....do not judge me it keeps me quite warm in the winter.

The tamed lion! After using the Finishing touch pro....yes it really does the trick! (I am not ashy......that is the sun light hitting my arm)

Best buy

Since my computer was dropped on my hard wood floor (by me sad face) I decided to go to Best Buy to buy another one :).  It is hard dishing out a couple hundred dollars in one shot, I almost did not want to let go of my debit card lol.

This is the computer I purchased YAY! It is a HP pavillion and has a 14 inch screen, I love it!  This was the second Best Buy location I had to go to find this particular computer it was sold out so quickly but I got my hands on one! whoot!  Hopefully I am able to actually take care of this one, I refuse to drop a third one on the ground sigh, Happy about my purchase!

Forever 21

I went to Forever 21 after work today to buy a few things (I almost got my out fit ready for my photo shoot! cheese smile).  They have all their next season collection out already, so I can tell what trends will be in this spring and summer :).  I went there focused ......to only buy specific things I needed right now, so I will be going back for some of the things in the pictures below and much more!  I love the warmer weather because the clothes are so much cuter than winter clothing, and way cheaper. 

Wire head bands, I forgot the "real" name for these.

I ended up purchasing the shirt with the lace puffy sleeves in white and pink, 2 wire head bands, and a beautiful beaded purple necklace that ties in a knot at the end (did not take a picture of the necklace but I am sure you will see it in a future "Outfit of the day").

Sally Hansen

I purchased the Sally Hansan no chip acrylic top coat to try it out because I always have issues with my nail color chipping in a matter of hours because I use my hands so much at work and at school.  I was confident this would help, that It would not chip at all for at least the first few days of me wearing it.  

Boy was I wrong!! I think it chipped even faster after applying on to my nails.  This Acrylic top coat does not work at all!(for me.....maybe I just have special nails lol). It is the same as putting a thin layer of clear nail polish over your nail color to give it that nice shine.  Big disappointment.....I wasted $4.....I could have bought a sandwich and a soda with that lol.

Top shop

I went downtown to SoHo to purchase a few things and I was shocked to see a Top Shop.   I had been  there many times in the past........and it was not there before, they must have just opened a new location. 

I did not know there was a Top Shop in New York City, but I guess I was wrong.  I almost got hit by a car (lol) trying to run across the street to take a look inside, I have never actually been in a store just shopped online.

I ended up purchasing the pair sunglasses and the 2 head bands! Yay!

I also went to a clothing store named Exstaza.   I had never heard of this store before today, I think this is the only location.  Their clothes were cute, trendy, and reasonable priced so I purchased one top.....whoot!
