O.M.G I found this picture from a year and a half ago in my picture folder on my computer. I was in Massachusetts for a week visiting a friend (it was super cold when I visited and there was a blizzard one of the days I was there!) . I miss these glasses I am wearing they were my favorite pair from Forever 21 but they broke one day (tear....I hope they come out with a similar pair this summer) . I also had the matching bag, the one you see in the background on the table. Sigh......memories :) ♥

College

Today was the first day of my spring semester in college and I was totally not prepared.....so it sucked!!! Maybe I am being a little too dramatic. It was not that bad but getting up early in the morning to travel to downtown Brooklyn, an hour on the train to do intermediate algebra is not how I wanted to spend my Monday morning. If that was not enough after that class I had to come straight home to get dressed so I could make it to work by 4 pm. I think Monday is going to be my most hated day of the week (throws a dart at the calender). It is funny though because traveling on the train to school is not that bad, it can be kind of fun sometimes. I have seen many interesting people, even celebrities here and there (I do not get why they would be taking public transportation). You get your occasional person begging for cash, a guy selling candy (he comes in handy when I am in the mood for sweets), and even live entertainment......kids trying to dance or grown men playing congas sitting on small stools. It is the college part I cant stand, I mean was not 12 years in school enough for you people! Whoever said "Oh lets create another level of education that will determine if a person makes X amount of money or Y amount of money" I loathe you! lol. You readers must be like "No one is forcing you to be in college Rochelle, it is your decision if you want to go or not!"......ahhhhhh yes someone is, my mother! It was expected of me to go......so I was forced (No if, ands, or buts about it). Since I have already started and my mother invested a lot of money in me, I am going to make sure I get that little piece of paper in a frame if it kills me!!! |

D.I.Y: Custom bracelet

What you'll need: Beads, decorative string or cord, a pair of scissors, and a hot glue gun. You can purchase all these craft tools from Micheal's. |

Pull the string or cord threw the beads and make a knot at the end. Then glue the knot to the string or cord creating the size loop you desire. |
 |
Cut the opposite end (before you cut the opposite end make sure it is large enough to fit around your arm) and make a knot small enough to go through the loop, but large enough to stay closed when you are wearing it. Now you are ready to flaunt your newly made bracelet! Have fun! ♥ |

Alfredo sauce made from scratch. Includes bacon, butter, milk, heavy cream, flour, parmesan cheese, and diced garlic. It looks super creamy doesn't it!! |

Marinated chicken breasts with extra virgin olive oil, hot water, Italian seasoning, and diced onions for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. |

Diced red peppers and mushrooms. |

Put it all together with a hint of bacon on top! |

Facial mask

I purchased this papaya purifying dead sea mud mask from Forever 21 for $1.80!!!! ♥ I could not just get one pack of this, I got a whole bunch!!

The papaya mask is cool in temperature and has a nice smell when you apply to your face. The package tells you to keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes, then wash your face clean. My face felt baby soft and refreshed after I washed the mask off. I give this mask 2 thumbs up, I will definitely use this on a regular basis!!!! :)

Blush
On my way to work I noticed this teenage girl and I could not keep my eyes off her. It was not because she was attractive (even though she was attractive) but it was because she had on WAY TO MUCH blush. She was with two of her friends, and I could not believe at least one of them did not say to her "hey, you have to much blush on, take some of it off". She looked like she put about four layers of the brightest pink blush she could find in one area of her cheek.
If you look like an anime character when they start to blush or like pikachu then I think that you kinda over did it!!.......it is not cute people!!.........it draws the wrong attention. When you apply blush it is supposed to look natural and give you a glow and color when you usually would not have any on your cheeks. Also not all blushes are for every ones skin tone, so make sure when you are purchasing blush try it on before hand.
So please women just do not over do it on the blush, because you do not want it to overshadow your natural beauty. If you do you just might see me running up to you trying to save you from the blush epidemic, with one hand full of napkins and the other hand with a container of makeup remover!!!!! ♥ XOXO

Have you ever wondered how to get your hair curly without any hot hair tools, but also without wearing those big hard plastic curlers in your hair that are so uncomfortable to sleep in. I have the answer!, by using satin foam rollers in your hair at night (in the first picture above). All you do is roll your hair with them at night (put a scarf on over the rollers), when you wake up....take them out, and you will have yourself some curls! They are very comfortable to sleep in because they are made with satin and foam. You can find satin foam rollers at any beauty supply store for less than $6!! ♥

Nose pore strips

Ha! I tricked you didn't I?, you thought this was going to be about "nosey" people! Well I went into Forever 21 to look around a bit today (just for fun). I have noticed that Forever 21 is starting to have a lot more beauty items in stock now!
I do not know why but I like it! They had facial masks, body washes, lotions, perfumes, and much more! I decided to purchase a few things and they were all under $4. The first thing I tried were nose pore strips with tea tree oil (the one in the picture above). I wondered if it could do as good of a job as more expensive brands. I tested it out........and it does do a great job! All you do is wash your face thoroughly then wet your nose and stick on the strip. Then wait 15 minutes for the strip to harden., once it is hard peel the strip off slowly to see what little surprises you find.....(gross little ones lol). Instead of purchasing the more expensive brands, I think I will just stock up on these nose pore stripes from Forever 21......costing only $3.80!! ♥ |
