Where to live

where to live moving
My boyfriend and I want to get married next year around this time because I want to have a spring wedding, so its not too hot or not too cold (no he did not propose to me yet ....but I told him to wait until the summer time or after so we can start saving for it now in the mean time).  We were talking the other day and I was telling him I kinda want to move out of New York City.  I love New York and I spent most of my life here, but I think it is time for a change.  I just want to be in a new environment where I can start fresh and meet new people and experience new things.  I told him lets move out of the United States!  Surprisingly he did not think that was a crazy idea.  I said what if we live in the Dominican Republic (that is where he is from). I was watching house hunters international and this couple moved from Canada to the Dominican Republic, and where they finally ended up buying their home was such a beautiful part of the Island that it made me want to live there too.  I can imagine myself living a few miles from the beach or even closer than that.  I really just want to live somewhere in the tropics because I hate having to wear a lot of layers and heavy jackets in the winter months.  I would just like to only own all warm weather clothes and never have to look at another scarf or pair of gloves ever again.  He suggested living in Florida because it has the best of both worlds, its still in the United States but the weather is nice year round.  That would be cool too but it is not an adventure, I have been there so many times in the past.  Honestly I have no idea where I want to live once we are married! I told him what about Asia, Europe, and other countries but he said those places are super far....that is true I would miss my family and he would miss his.  I guess I have a whole year to figure it out, we have a lot of thinking to do.  Where do you think I should move too??? Help! lol
